Using help.

Context help (F1)#

Point at a tool, a panel, a Look card or a parameter and press F1. The manual opens at the page for the thing under the pointer. If nothing specific is under the pointer, F1 opens the page for the active tool.

Shortcut cheat sheet#

Ctrl+/ shows every keyboard shortcut for the current context.

Command search#

The search window finds commands, settings and manual pages from one box. Type part of a name; every word you type must match.

Tooltips#

Hover a control for a moment to see what it does, its shortcut and, for Look and motion cards, a small animated preview.

The manual#

The manual is a dock like any other panel. It keeps a history (back and forward), and every page can be searched. Links between pages never leave the app; nothing is downloaded.
