Hatch

Preview. Reference preview: prose only. Defaults, ranges, shortcuts and the op, command, motion, tool and generator pages come from the app's exporter.

Hatches filled shapes; spacing follows the fill value, with crosshatch in the shadows.

Parameters#

#Angle angle

The hatch line angle, in degrees, when Angle Source is fixed.

#Angle source angle_source

Where the hatch line angle comes from: a fixed angle, the Shot Look light direction, or the shape's own long axis.

#Cross angle cross_angle

Angle of the second, crosshatch set of lines relative to the main hatch angle.

#Crosshatch threshold crosshatch_threshold

Below this shading value, a second crossing set of hatch lines is added for extra darkness.

#Inset inset

Pulls the hatched area in from the shape's edge by this many pixels.

#Keep fill keep_fill

Keeps the shape's original flat fill visible underneath the hatch instead of removing it.

#Line color line_color

Colour of the hatch lines.

#Line width line_width

Thickness of each hatch line.

#Spacing max spacing_max

Widest spacing between hatch lines, used in the lightest areas.

#Spacing min spacing_min

Closest spacing between hatch lines, used in the darkest areas.

#Value value

The shading value used when Value Source is fixed (0 dark/dense hatch, 1 light/sparse).

#Value source value_source

Where the shading value comes from: the shape's own fill colour, or a fixed value.

#Wobble wobble

How much the hatch lines waver instead of running perfectly straight.
